Education
Pat Pabst is admitted to practice law in Washington and Oregon, and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She received her undergraduate degree in French from the University of Idaho, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College, cum laude, ranking second in her class.

Practice Emphasis
As the firm’s of counsel member, Pat’s practice emphasizes construction, trusts, probate, and gift and estate taxation. This includes both living trusts and irrevocable trusts to reduce taxes and achieve lifetime gifting and charitable goals.

Professional & Community Activities
Pat is a member of the Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations, the St. Helens Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers, and the Clark County Bar Association of which she served as the president in 1998-2001. In addition, she is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Washington State Bar; the Construction and Administration Section of the Oregon State Bar; and the Clark County Construction Council.

For many years, Pat taught regular seminars on construction, trusts, probate, and charitable giving to professional and civic groups. She and her partners have written “Guide to Construction Under Washington and Federal Law” to assist lay people in understanding the fundamentals of construction.
