Josh Passman is an attorney with a commitment to social justice. Josh began his professional legal career with Bet Tzedek’s Conservatorship/Elder Law program, running self-help clinics in the Downtown, Pasadena, Norwalk, Long Beach and Antelope Valley courthouses for over four years. He was responsible for the filing of more than 1,200 cases each year – more than 40% of all the conservatorships in LA County. He supervised over 150 volunteer attorneys, law students and paralegals. In 2014, Josh was instrumental in launching the first e-delivery program for probate in the LA Superior Court. In addition to his involvement in the Probate clinics, Josh has conducted Conservatorship trainings for pro bono lawyers at nationally recognized law firms and instructed in-house legal departments at major studios. He has also presented at numerous Legal conferences throughout the country such as the National Legal Aid and Defender Association in Chicago and the Technology Initiative Grants in Jacksonville, Florida. Josh attended Pitzer College in Claremont, where he majored in Sociology. He received his J.D. degree from Southwestern Law School.

Josh was the Co-Chair of the Jewish Family Service Young Leaders group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles. ​Josh and his wife Lindsey are both Los Angeles natives – and big baseball fans. They live in West Los Angeles with their dog Dodger.
