Paul’s education includes a B.A. magna cum laude from Alma College in 1985, a J.D. cum laude from Tulane University in 1988, and an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University in 1990. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana since 1988, Michigan since 1990, and Wisconsin since 1995.

Paul is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Construction Section, Business Law Section, and Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the West Michigan Construction Council. He also serves his community as a member of the Governance Committee of the North Ottawa Community Health System, a Board Member of the Spring Lake Schools Foundation, a Past President of the Rotary Club of Spring Lake, and a member of various committees at the Spring Lake Country Club. Additionally, he is a member of the Pastoral Council and Finance Council of Saint Mary’s Church and a Steering Committee member of 100 Guys Who Give.
