Firm Summary

The only thing sharper than Kaz’s suit is his legal mind. Although he may very well be the best-dressed attorney we’ve ever met, his most impressive quality is his smart, caring, down-to-earth attitude. He has a special talent for understanding his client’s concerns and it shows.

Jonathan “Kaz” Espy was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. He attended Northview High School and then went on to the University of Alabama where he majored in Psychology and History made the Dean’s List all four years and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Thereafter, he attended Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia, where he was on the Law Review (being twice published), and clerked for the Hon. Hugh Lawson, U.S. District Court Judge, graduated Cum Laude. After briefly working at a large firm in Atlanta, Kaz returned to Dothan to work with his father, Collier H. As a lover of nature, Kaz loves introducing his sons to the joys of being outside including fishing, hunting, running, and golf. Kaz enjoys listening to music, reading, and spending time with his wife. He also enjoys catching up with his friends, many of whom he has been close to since childhood.
