Mike formed Scullen Law, PLLC in 2005. Before 2005 Mike was a partner with the firm Heritier Nance & Sheridan in Troy where he practiced for six years. He was also formerly employed by Raymond & Prokop in Southfield, which was one of the leading tax firms in Michigan.

Mike started his legal career in Washington, DC where he attended law school, and moved home to Michigan in 1996 to raise his children near family and friends.

In 2021, Mike first became associated with Strobl Sharp PLLC and continues such association in an Of Counsel capacity which enables him to seamlessly assist them with their client matters.

Mike received his law degree (Juris Doctor) from The American University, Washington College of Law in 1992. During law school, he had the opportunity to serve as an intern for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

He has also completed certain courses which relate to his law practice through the masters of law program at Wayne State University.

Mike received his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration) from Michigan State University in 1989. He was a Varsity letterman at MSU and a member of the Track & Field team during all four years of college, competing in both the indoor and outdoor track seasons each year.

Mike married his college sweetheart (Liesl) in 1990. They have two adult children (Lindsey and Sean) and live in Beverly Hills.

Mike continues to enjoy running and is a member of the Michigan State University Varsity Alumni “S” Club, which is an alumni club for former Varsity letter winners.
